Claudia Lefort, LCSW is a graduate of New York University formerly known as the Shirley M. Ehrenkranz School of Social Work, now called the Silver School of Social Work.

She started her career in social services working at the Administration of Children's Services as a Child Protective Specialist.  Thereafter Mrs. Lefort continued her career at Maimonides Medical Center where she worked as an Emergency Room and Medical Social Worker and proceeded to become an Inpatient Psychiatric Social Worker.  

 

Mrs. Lefort has over 20 years of experience and practice in working with various populations with a multitude of issues and concerns.  In those experiences, Mrs. Lefort has earned a reputation of being competent and very capable of this most important work.  Her knowledge of therapeutic resources as well as extensive collaborative experience is used to assist and support clients on their therapeutic journey.  

 

Mrs. Lefort's focus is that of teaching coping skills and strategies and holding one accountable in a safe, honest, and empathetic environment. Adolescents & adults are the populations of focus.
